Phenomenal, Not Perfect: Ditching the Highlight Reel
If you scroll through social media, it’s easy to believe that everyone else has it all figured out. The highlight reels are polished, the wins are celebrated, and the struggles are filtered out. But the truth? Life is rarely that tidy.
For a long time, I worried that if I shared my doubts, mistakes, or messy moments, people would see me as less than. But the more I opened up, the more I realized that authenticity is what truly connects us. The phenomenal force in each of us isn’t about having a flawless story—it’s about having the courage to be seen, even when things aren’t going as planned.
Some of my biggest breakthroughs have come from moments of vulnerability: admitting I’m overwhelmed, asking for help, or sharing a song I wasn’t sure was good enough. Every time, I’ve found that people relate more to my struggles than my successes.
So here’s my promise: this blog won’t be a highlight reel. It’ll be a real reel. I’ll share the wins, the losses, and everything in between—because being phenomenal isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, exactly as you are, and growing from there.
